Broader
Impact Grants

Broader Impact Grants support the development or enhancement of partnerships and collaborations that will work towards broader impacts across communities. These grants are designed to strengthen or build powerful partnerships that aim to make a lasting, system-wide difference in gambling harm prevention, education, and supports in Scotland, England, or Wales, especially in communities that are underserved, systematically disadvantaged, or facing health inequalities.

Broader Impact Grants are for initiatives that:

  • Involve collaboration between at least three organisations

  • Aim for long-term, wide-reaching impact — across sectors, systems, or jurisdictions

  • Embrace diverse voices and experiences — from lived experience to public health, academic, justice, and support sectors

  • Include sustainable tools or processes to keep the impact going

  • Have a plan to share and spread results beyond the initial audience

More details can be found in the application guidelines.

Local
Impact Grants

Local Impact Grants aims to provide support for the development or enhancement of initiatives led by individual or collaboratives of organisations that will work towards local impacts within communities related to gambling harm prevention, education, and support in Scotland, England, or Wales. Applicants in this category can apply to any of the three granting types:

  • Innovate Grants: For early-stage or new ideas rooted in evidence and ready to be tested.

  • Expand Grants: For the growth or continued development of tested initiatives that have shown early success.

  • Transfer Grants: For adapting successful, evidence-based initiatives from other sectors or contexts.

More details can be found in the application guidelines.
